Today we will travel to one of the most sacred places in Nepal -. Pharping. This is where the great tantric master of Tibetan Buddhism Guru Rinpoche attained enlightenment. Small, peaceful. settlements amidst picturesque hills have sheltered numerous Tibetan monasteries, built relatively recently. At the Nevari temple of Vajrayogini a ritual to attract good luck and fulfill good fortune awaits us.
Next, we’ll climb to the observation deck above the Asura Cave, where we’ll enjoy an unparalleled view of the of the surrounding hills and make sanga offerings in a huge stove, where many yogis and lamas of Tibet and the Himalayas. and the Himalayas. Cleansed by the sacred smoke and inspired for spiritual endeavors, we’ll descend into the Asura Cave itself, where we’ll where we will learn the amazing story of Guru Rinpoche. On the way back we will visit Dudjom Retreat Center, where retreats and retreats in the in the tradition of Tibetan yogis.
